It’s a slang term. The way I understand it is that someone who is “fake woke” pretends to be woke (cares a lot about a perceived social issue) in order to impress others, but in doing so goes against factual information since they don’t actually know what they’re talking about.

No since the flat earth isn’t a social issue, but I get where you’re coming from!
As a very tame example, if I pretended to be REALLY concerned about how people may park in a handicap spot when they don’t need it, and started making stuff up like “for the past few years it’s 50% more likely for a handicap person to not be able to find a spot to park”, in order to impress a girl I’m into I would be fake woke.

What I put was a hypothetical, or a made up scene, that hasn’t happened. Instead I’m saying what could happen so it’s actually in the future tense instead of past. Essentially I’m saying “if I did this and this for that reason, I would be fake woke”.
I did use “it’s (it is)” in my quote which is different than the rest of the sentence, but since it’s a quote (something that would be said or was already said) it needs to be exactly how I would say it at the time of the example.
Let me know if that makes sense!

Yes, but I think the reason they’re talking about it is important as well.
They’re trying to impress someone with how much they care, if not then they’re not fake woke but just wrong in what they’re saying.

"Woke" significa ser consciente de problemas sociales, por ejemplo racismo, y los importarse. Una persona "fake woke" habla mucho de estas problemas para recibir elogio o crédito social, pero en realidad no se importa y no está ayudando con los problemas.
