Today I started my Browns Franchise, All-Madden and latest Slider Set. Played with Flacco against the Bengals with Browning and Steelers, so all three teams with objectively very good defenses and overall lacking offenses.

Here are my takeaways:
Defensively I what too difficult to stop the opponent with the Browns defense in my opinion. Browning lit me up in the first half with only 2 incompletions, a TD and 200 yards, finding his receivers every time. Yes, the Bengals have a good WR core, but so is the Browns CB Core and Browning was too accurate and the Receivers open too consistently.
Third Quarter was completely different, after a few Incompletions Browning was out of rythm and I shut them out for the quarter. Then in Fourth Quarter it was more like the first half again.
Pass Rush Win Rate especially with Myles Garrett was very good, but Browning threw the ball to a receiver every time before he arrived.
Offensively it was a better experience, but actually I believe the Run and Pass Blocking for the user should habe been a little worse, since I played with two backup tackles. But I think their are more problems with the user defense.
Against the Steelers, my defense was better, but three 70+ yard plays due to poor tackling led to a 400+ yard game for the Steelers offense against my Browns defense.
In the end, I lost both games averaging 30+ avg points allowed on defense.
Nothing against defeats and its a small sample size, but it was really bad how few resistence the Browns defense showed over big stretchs of the game against mediocre offenses at best, and how helpless I felt with my pass coverage

I was getting ready to post something similar to this. I started a franchise with the bucs, in year 2 and I have a highly rated defense but the same thing I am seeing like I have been in the past few weeks, which is the pass defense for both the user and cpu has been feast or famine. I played against the Chargers and I picked off Herbert 4 times in the first half, 4! But then the Chargers still put up 250 passing yards on 26 passing attempts in the first half also, so that is why I said it’s either feast or famine with the pass defense.

I also see the same thing when I play offense. Not sure what to look at as far as sliders go

Played today for the first time in about a week today and the game felt so differently. Went from having a lot of difficulty generating pressure to being able to pretty easily get pressure. Trayvon Walker dominated Trent Williams. Brock Purdy went 28/49, 279 yards, 0 TD, 2 INT and was sacked more than 5 times (I've been having to restart my game part way through or it gets super laggy even though I'm offline, and that seems to screw up stat tracking on sacks, unfortunately).

Purdy made some bad decisions (which seemed few and far between in previous games), there was a lot of pressure, and it also felt like receivers were cutting faster on catches over the middle, giving a little more RAC.

I've continued to play with no real issues here. Sure there are times where the CPU QB will just light me up, but I can see where I've made a mistake, or called the wrong play, etc. I'm keeping an eye on animations though, and so far nothing stands out as negative. DBs are reacting to the routes rather than stopping dead in their tracks, QBs not throwing across their bodies, not standing in the pocket forever due to no pressure. There is still forward momentum in the way the running backs get tackled.

If I was picky about anything, maybe I'd like a tad bit more error from the CPU QB. If it starts to weigh on me, I'll simply drop the QB Accuracy to something like 39 and see if it still keeps all of the above. The key is I'd replay the same game multiple times at different values to make sure that's the actual one I want to stick with.
