Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Support statistical programming activities for clinical development projects.

  • This may include leadership of one or more products.

  • Develop and execute statistical study and report deliverables ranging from individual clinical trials to world-wide regulatory application submissions.

  • Design and maintain statistical datasets that support multiple stakeholder groups.

  • Collaborate with statistics and other project stakeholders in ensuring project plans are executed efficiently with timely and high-quality deliverables.

  • Serve as statistical programming point of contact and knowledge holder through the entire product lifecycle.

  • Develop effective study and report programming and validation utilizing global and Therapeutic Areas standards and following departmental SOPs and good programming practices.

  • Maintain and manage a project plan including resource forecasting.

  • Coordinate activities of a global programming team.

  • Participate in departmental strategic initiative teams.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Life Sciences, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience in the position offered or related.

  • Bachelor’s degree in any of the above fields and 5 years of experience in the position offered or related also accepted.

  • Experience must include 3 years in the following: SAS programming in a clinical trial environment, including data steps, procedures, SAS/MACRO, SAS/GRAPH, SAS systems and database expertise; designing and developing complex programming algorithms; comprehending analysis plans which describe methodologies to be programmed; applying clinical data management concepts; CDISC and ADaM standards; process compliance and deliverable quality; and developing analysis and reporting deliverables for Research and Development projects, including data, tables, graphics, and listings.
